DIY wine box herb garden

After a summer of cooking, I am finally back to my crafty old self!

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite home projects: the DIY wine box herb garden. This makes a wonderful housewarming gift that can be on display in the garden, on the patio or in a kitchen window.

  1. My kids would enjoy doing this, they have been hopeless with the greenhouse this year, perhaps a window box would be more manageable!

  2. I'd love to plant some herbs in there and have it on my windowsill, thanks for the idea!

  3. I love it! Smart about the mint, it's such a weed. My herbs are growing in individual pots, but I can already tell that the mint would take over everything if it weren't separated. :-)
