A few weeks ago I was asked to add some fabric to Mr. P.'s preschool class quilt so that it could be hung on the wall (coincidentally in his brother's now-preschool class!).
After taking this incredible relic home for the weekend I was really struck by the hard work and imagination of the children who made this.
Each child in the class was give a square of fabric and after planning their idea, they hand stitched an image to their square.
Here is Mr. P.'s - A Star Wars Jedi, of course.
This looks like a cat standing with a flower and a rainbow.
And, I like to think that this one is a frog....but it's probably something like a princess.
This would be a fun project to do with the extended family (if they are of the crafting persuasion)....so that everyone has a piece that represents them.
